An event not to be missed!

The 2nd International Conference on Age-Friendly Cities will be held on September 9 to 11, 2013, in Quebec City under the theme of Living and Aging Together in our Community.

This major gathering welcomes every person that is concerned by aging of populations, whether from municipal administration, the health, social, and community services sector, urban planning and transport, the research milieu, or any of the governmental various levels.

All participants will find sources of inspiration, tools, strategies, and current, context-appropriate information in the rich and varied program.

Bilingual contents, both in French and English, will be available throughout the conference. Simultaneous translation will also be available.

All conference content and activities will be organized around four thematic tracks.

  • Age-friendly cities as social innovation;
  • The role of various stakeholders;
  • The interface between built and social environments;
  • An evaluation of age-friendly city initiatives.
